We host a variety of artistic and community themed regular activities, for the young, senior and in-between. Some information about what we have on offer is provided below. Singing for Pleasure
The group meets every two weeks on a Monday, 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm.
There are no auditions and it does not matter if you can't sing! "We just want to have fun and sing popular songs". There is no pressure or competitions, so it suits everyone!
Cost £2.50 per session.
Wensleydale Camera Club
The club meets every Monday at 7.15 pm from September through until March.
The Wensleydale Camera Club was founded in 1957 and is still going as strong today. We are a happy, friendly club with a wide range of members from old to young and always ready to welcome new members. Our club has beginners and experienced photographers so we like to offer a wide range of evenings / trips out that will be enjoyable and informative to all.

Lunch & Chat Club
Aimed at providing a place for local people to have lunch and a chat in a friendly atmosphere. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 12:30 to 2pm. No need to book at the moment, just pop along. £4.50 for light lunch followed by tea or coffee.

An exciting venture aimed at providing a place for local people to meet and talk. The purpose of the club is to provide friendship, entertainment and social activities for everyone who comes along.
The Tuesday Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. If you need transport we will collect you from home, or a convenient stop off point and bring you to The Old School House in Leyburn for 2.00 pm. There you will spend a pleasant afternoon socialising and taking part in the activities and all for just £5 for the afternoon.
After a light meal we will take you back home around 5.00 pm. We would love to see you at every event but there is no obligation to attend every fortnight. If you would feel more comfortable being accompanied by a friend then bring them along as well, all will be welcome.

The Tuesday Club is also working with the Moors and Dales Community Connect Service. This service is provided by the Red Cross and aims to improve people’s well being, independence and quality of life by connecting them to local activities such as the Tuesday Club.

Provides the opportunity for retired men to meet twice a month, socialise and listen to talks. Held first and third Tuesday in the month 10.00 to 12.00 am. We normally gather from about 10am onwards for a cup of coffee, chat and a biscuit. The formal part of the meeting starts at 10:30 and a bit of administrative business is followed by a talk on some interesting topic or other. The meeting finishes at 12 noon.

The Portrait Painters meet every other Thursday 10.30 to 12.30 pm. with a Summer and Christmas break making two seasons.
Total membership is around 10 with an average of 6 attendees, painting or drawing two sitters at each session. [There is no teaching]
Sitters always welcome and will be paid £15 per session.
