Our community cinema aims to bring local people together to watch great cinema. It is equipped with high quality seats, HD projector and surround sound. We show popular new releases on Friday evenings. On the first Tuesday of the month we explore other film types, e.g. low-budget British, World cinema, silent classics with accompaniment. We have two exciting new ventures for 2017, recordings of live productions from the National Theatre and a two day film festival. The film selection, promotion, front of house, operation of the equipment etc. are all done by our merry band of volunteers, who freely give their time and effort. However, we need to purchase licences to show the films, which are expensive. Our ticket prices are aimed at recouping these costs, typically £6 or, for under 14 or over 60, £5. Use your loyalty card and earn a free ticket. Our licensed cafe bar is open before the film. Please see below for our forthcoming screenings and trailer links.
